Crossroads in Rotherham
A grant was first made available from Rotherham Metropolitan Borough
Council and Rotherham Health Authority in May 1990 to provide support
for carers. We have developed over the years with the abiding principle
of offering a high quality service and we now provide-
· a twenty-four hour service that offers respite
care for adult carers of any individual with care needs regardless
of age or disability · respite care for young carers who care for
an adult with a physical disability
· domiciliary care for individuals with a physical
disability between the ages of 16 and 65
· care services for the terminally ill allowing
them to remain in their own homes (some of whom are without carers)
· individually tailored care packages for clients in receipt of ILF/Direct
Payments
· care services to children with either learning or physical disabilities
· care packages for clients wishing to purchase
our services privately
